so ive been in sweden the past few weeks. got to meet alot of mikaela´s friends and family and its been helpful being able to put a face and character to match the stories she´s told. it's a very nice scenic landscape not unlike parts of canada and tasmania. im trying to to speak some of my broken swedish but everyone's english (aside from some older shop keepers and such) is really good and i think they enjoy the practice of speaking english anyway. so im getting by...
back on the bicycles after a weekone of gothenburgs many canals. we´ve spent half the time in gothenburg, sweden's second biggest city next only to stockholm, and half the time on the outskirts of a town called hored, (its not as bad as the name might suggest). real country/rural sweden.who doesnt want to ride in a tea cup?jazz band in an old church during the jazz festcrayfish seasonsome acoustic jamsstreet performersi dont know i guess i had a staff that dayimpromptu scherades sp? in a parkah yes and mushroom hunting!! a favorite swedish pastime (dont worry its very safe and yes i have seen 'into the wild')so about a month left here now to see and explore; the ticket back to canada has been booked. so we'll be seeing you all soon enough (or leaving depending on whos reading this) hmmm, still finding out about getting to denmank and germany in the next week or so though. lots to plan and do trying to make the most of it...
